Pisces New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse [Sun in Pisces conjunct Moon in Pisces]
Moon [in Aries] trine Saturn [in Sagittarius], Juno [in Leo]
Moon [in Aries] opposite North Node [in Libra]
Sun enters Aries
You can read any astrologer’s webpage right now and see something big is brewing. But, you are here with me, and I thank you.
A New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse in the 29th and final degree of Pisces [aka the last degree of the ENTIRE 360 degree zodiac] kicks the morning off, followed later in the evening by the vernal equinox. The equinox is the commencement of the Spring season, which is heralded by Aries The Ram as the sun enters the first degree of the first sign, thereby reigniting the annual solar cycle. Happy New Year 😀
But back to that eclipse, because before you begin again, something must come to an end. And what more significant way to end an era than to witness a total solar eclipse in the last chronological position it could possibly be. Eclipses, BTW = big changes and sudden shifts… moving on.
Since this day is obviously a big, dramatic finale leading us into some bigger, unprecedented premiere, I decided to consult my new tarot cards in a spread called “All Things Change”. There are four cards, and each one drawn represents a different aspect of the divination. I asked “What is changing with this New Moon Solar Eclipse?”
Card I [what no longer matters]: The Star
The star, in all its shining glory, represents success and illumination of the way. In this position, however, I would argue that The Star is a sign that our ideals and high hopes may not be realistic or even relevant anymore. Maybe the star you were wishing on has burned out and it’s time to find a new aspiration to guide you down a new direction. It’s easy to get caught up and forget that the best is yet to come when you believe that this is as good as it gets. It’s not. Next…
Card II [what has been fulfilled]: Ten of Wands
The guy in this picturing is carrying more than his fair share of wands, but why? For some reason, you were under the impression that you had to bend over backwards to get the job done. Perhaps you were picking up slack. Maybe the guilt of not enough drove you to do too much. If you were trying to prove a point, especially in regards to how much you care, it has been proved. Everyone knows how much you are willing to take on to meet your aim, so now what?
Sometimes you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel because you don’t believe it will come, but something tells me you have already exerted a lifetime’s worth of energy. Now it seems as though you’ve carried this burden as far as it can possibility go. There’s comes a point when you must realize when to stop and let your actions speak for themselves.
It’s okay to give it up. Let the wands fall where they may. You’ve got to get your hands free because it’s time to get a grip something a bit more rewarding after all your blood, sweat, and tears…
Card III [what will carry me forward]: Ace of Pentacles
Life is a cycle and there is a time an place for everything within it. Now is the time to reap the rewards and realize the results. If your life has been in a flux of turbulent uncertainty, rest assured knowing that everything is becoming more clear. The effort you have made will pay off in a way that you never anticipated, and it’s is all starting to make more sense. Stop for a moment and you’ll see what is manifesting.
The martyr in you has died, and now it’s your turn to revel in abundance and prosperity and all the opportunities that are coming your way. If you’ve worked all your life, then consider this the start of an extended payday period. You are worthy of wealth, aren’t you?
Card IV [the change I must embrace]: Page of Wands
there is always going to be something newer, better, brighter, younger, more exciting, etc… If this moment seems particularly difficult to get over, just imagine the triumphs that lie ahead of you. You may not realize it, but there is a spirit is you that id dying to start anew, to get out there and see what else the world has to offer. There are new discoveries to be made, but you simply can’t see them with a bunch of bullshit sticks [see the Ten of Wands] blocking your vision. Instead of resisting the unfamiliar novelty of your next chapter, be enthusiastic and confident that the the odds are in your favor, divinely.
