Today everyone is inclined to possess an awareness of drama and theatrics, coupled with a charming finesse, so The Ones who actively own their inner performer know quite well how to get away with murder when necessary. Whether you actually commit such a crime just because you can is up to you and whichever god[s] to whom you choose to answer. Morality is best left in the hand’s of the individual. It’s almost easy to judge and condemn the way others behave in this play called life, but until you live the life of someone else, it may be best not to judge their intentions. There’s always more to the story, so what’s wrong to one person may be an act of survival to the next.
It’s not all life or death though. Today you may just find yourself embodying the archetypal children’s dentist who tells a painstakingly corny joke as his dental assistant stabs the highly anxious, yet momentarily distracted patient with a Novocain shot. In order to get what you want without causing an unnecessary scene, you might just have to pull a proverbial rabbit out of a figurative hat, because sometimes a sleight of hand can get the job done more effectively than a sleeve with a heart on it. Just make sure what was intended to be a harmless illusion doesn’t spiral into a debilitatingly deceptive delusion.
