It is important occasionally to shift your perspective from one of duality to one of unity. For example, instead of viewing your environment and the nouns, verbs, and adjectives that comprise it as separate from you, maybe it’s possible to adopt a more holistic viewpoint. When you begin to perceive major life events as divinely orchestrated singular occurrences, for which these individuals factions have been brought together to fulfill a larger function, then it becomes easier to see the big, interconnected picture.

The stranger you see on the subway today could be The One you’ve been waiting for you all your life without consciously realizing it, The One who complements your weakness [and vice versa] so that you can finally take things to the next level. Be enthusiastically thankful for everyone you meet, especially today, because it’s impossible to know how far you could go with them. Perhaps your union will be more brief than its legacy, but that’s okay. Why not in that case be open to the huge world of possibilities whichever way the unfold?

The best way to celebrate a day like this is to rise to any occasion that promises to expand/elevate you outside/above of your current condition. Make it your intention to integrate the most exotically foreign, unexplored parts of yourself that come into the sphere of your awareness, because although it can be jarring to confront the mysteries that have eluded your illumination, it’s better to be full than fractured.
