Today might find you going out of your way for something or someone you love. As you move about with such a rush of energy, be careful not to lose your balance, and leave a mess of a trail. It’s no wonder you’re all revved up, though. You are commencing some sort of engagement that promises to take you to the next level of personal refinement, an engagement that reflects you in a more attractive light than you could have ever anticipated. It is already apparent to those who are observant, but this union will be a source of self-assured confidence for you.
Despite how pretty they are, all the best arrangements come at a cost, but you already knew that. Continue reading

Moon [in Virgo] trine Ceres [in Capricorn]

Just as a razor’s edge, this energy is one that will take dexterity, precision, and expertise to handle. Try to grasp it without knowing what you’re going after could result in a bloody wound, not to mention an infectious disease. Wielding it efficiently, on the other hand, could shift the world’s perception of you. Suddenly, you are somebody to take seriously. You are the capable one, the one who not only gets the job done, but also makes it quick, painless, and clean cut.
Libra Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon [Sun in Aries opposite Moon in Libra]
Moon [in Libra] opposite Uranus [in Aries]
Moon [in Libra] square Pluto [in Capricorn]
Moon [in Libra] sextile Jupiter [in Leo]
At this very moment, there’s nothing you need more than a helping hand. It may feel like you’ve done all you can on your own, and now you could use some assistance, or a referral, or a co-sign to make it real. You swallow your pride and reach out, but your initiative may not be received. I may be downright rejected [in that fake, polite way that drives you crazy]. But why, though? You don’t believe you’re asking for too much…
After all, The Others seem to be so well off, enjoying life’s most exquisite, exclusive pleasures as you look on from the outside. Your intention was to do it yourself and be the first, the original, and everything after that was supposed to fall into place. Now you’ve realized that other people ALWAYS play a part, and you need to connect if you want to take it to the next level.
What happens, though, when you’re not included? What happens when you’re not invited to the party? What happens when you are on the guest list, but you’re not even considered important enough look at the VIP section?
You’re not asking for too much, no. All you want is access.
Maybe you have access already. Maybe you are one of the cool, or THE definitive cool kid. Maybe you’re surrounded by everyone you need to be surrounded by. If that’s the case, then what purpose do you serve each other, and are you really fulfilling your full potential when you come together? Continue reading
Pisces New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse [Sun in Pisces conjunct Moon in Pisces]
Moon [in Aries] trine Saturn [in Sagittarius], Juno [in Leo]
Moon [in Aries] opposite North Node [in Libra]
Sun enters Aries
You can read any astrologer’s webpage right now and see something big is brewing. But, you are here with me, and I thank you.
A New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse in the 29th and final degree of Pisces [aka the last degree of the ENTIRE 360 degree zodiac] kicks the morning off, followed later in the evening by the vernal equinox. The equinox is the commencement of the Spring season, which is heralded by Aries The Ram as the sun enters the first degree of the first sign, thereby reigniting the annual solar cycle. Happy New Year 😀
But back to that eclipse, because before you begin again, something must come to an end. And what more significant way to end an era than to witness a total solar eclipse in the last chronological position it could possibly be. Eclipses, BTW = big changes and sudden shifts… moving on.
Since this day is obviously a big, dramatic finale leading us into some bigger, unprecedented premiere, I decided to consult my new tarot cards in a spread called “All Things Change”. There are four cards, and each one drawn represents a different aspect of the divination. I asked “What is changing with this New Moon Solar Eclipse?” Continue reading

the new moon. this monthly meeting of the sun and the moon is known as a conjunction, and represents a unified blending of solar and lunar energy. the sun signifies the conscious self-expression of the ego whereas the moon is indicative of the subconscious emotional tendencies that influence habitual behavior. with the sun and moon working together in unison, the intention of deliberately directed creative will is well-received by the fertile cosmic climate. similar to the big bang, this brewing singularity of life force, if harnessed and concentrated, can galvanize the commencement of a new cycle of existence. in the intensely powerful sign of scorpio, this new moon marks the dawn of a passionately obsessive phase characterized by a erotic blend of personal magnetism and total emotional investment. at this moment everything becomes a matter of life, death, sex, and the inevitable rebirth that spurs universal evolution.

during libra season, when the sun is transiting the sign of the scales, we are fueled by collaboration. the easiest, most desirable way to shine is when working in unison with someone who is deemed equal, such as a friend, a lover, or a business associate. when the comfort-seeking moon inevitably transits libra’s opposite sign, aries, it becomes a bit of an emotional challenge to honor impulsive individuality without breaking a social rule or two, as the ego at its core is often more primitive and impatient than refined…
projection: “i’m a good person who is offended that my charming grace is neither appreciated nor reciprocated. i’d rather go solo than have to deal with the nastiness and strife that is incited, but i can’t just give up like that. if only i could convey to them how unfairly they treat me, i know they would finally hold me in the high esteem i deserve.“
– relationships serve to mirror your internal state back to you objectively, but lately what you see triggers an irrationally violent response…
– there is a difference between a healthy partnership and codependency, and a fragile identity/ego will eventually alienate others…
– although both parties are supposed to bring something to the table, some unions are more one-sided than mutual…
