Ashé Oracle Forecast: Week of 5/8/2017 [#StarsAndSymbols]

ūüĒģ Ash√© Oracle Forecast ūüĒģ
Week of Monday, May 8, 2017

weekly tarot.png

1.) YOU NOW
ūüĒģ: 9 of Swords ūüĒ™

Mental unrest is the big theme this week. Although people seem to be doing fine, many are fighting invisible battles. For motivation to overcome these obstacles, think back to a time when you realized your fear & anxiety¬†were all figments of your imagination, a time when you worried yourself ragged only to realize you were worried about nothing. If necessary, take an honest look at what you consider entertainment, as it is all too easy to be overstimulated by conflicting, psychologically abusive programming in this day and age. You are what you entertain. ūüĆü

2.) HIDDEN INFLUENCE
ūüĒģ: Page Of Wands ūüĒ•

It is not yet consciously apparent, but your creative will power is being¬†aroused. With the support of a higher power, you are being conditioned to co-create the life you envision. Watch out for a childlike need to be entertained, & acknowledge your preoccupation with¬†sex so that you may channel such potent energy more constructively. ūüĆü

3.) VISIBLE DEVELOPMENTS
ūüĒģ: Ace Of Pentacles ūüíį

Make room on your trophy shelf, because Another One is coming. Isn’t it nice to have something tangible to show for all your effort? Whether it’s a better paying position or a certificate of achievement, be sure to celebrate the prosperity with which you are blessed right now. ūüĆü

4.) YOU in the PAST
ūüĒģ: Queen Of Pentacles ūüíį

Prior to this week, you have been preparing for material abundance by tending to your resources, learning how to appreciate/maximize what you have, & fostering growth. Are you ready to reap the rewards?

5.) YOU in the FUTURE
ūüĒģ: 14 / Temperance ūüôŹ

As you begin to think more about the big picture, long range vision of your life, you will start to benefit from “Opportunity Perspective”, aka the ability to take your current circumstance (“good” or “bad”) & frame it so that it benefits you in the long run. This way you can turn any experience into the gift that keeps on giving. ūüĆü

I leave you with DJ Khaled‘s latest offering. My theory is that incorporating the word “one” as a lyric in a popular song is a music industry magic trick used to boost sales, gain airplay, and top the charts. ¬†It’s an affirmation! You can find “I’m The one” featuring everybody Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper, & Lil Wayne on my May 2017 Playlist.

Major Arcana Tarot Correspondence: The Hierophant

the_hierophant_by_simonamooon-d314jpk.jpg

When strife is overtakes stability, there is always that one constant that can be relied on for those who have been led astray. This could very well be a religious figure who assists in the process of spiritual alignment, but less literally, maybe it’s as simple as a prayer or a ritual that is esteemed for its ability to bring order to all the madness of the world. When times are tough, it is of the utmost importance to know where [and to whom] to turn, for time is of the essence and every man must save himself before its too late.

Before projecting a wholesome superiority onto any old tradition or contracted official, it must be verified. Even the most tried, true, and trusted institution is capable of succumbing to corruption. Is there a hidden agenda, and if so, what is it?

___

Astrology:

The Full Moon is the monthly separation of the Sun [ego, identity, expression] and Moon [empathy, intuition, emotion], as they assume their most distant positions in opposite signs. This great space between our luminary bodies allows for a more comprehensive awareness of the energy that has been building, as the moon is illuminated to maximum capacity, revealing momentarily the mysteries of the creation cycle that once were [and will be again] concealed behind the nocturnal veil. Just as visibility increases to supernatural proportions, the emotional atmosphere is heightened prompting what seem to be unusual experiences and outbursts. The earthly realm becomes a mirror image of this cosmic standoff. Holistic awareness and dynamic self-expression are the blessings of the full moon, but a long overdue confrontation could be the prerequisite roadblock that makes it challenging to receive them. The goal is to recognize hidden facets of self instead of projecting dark revelations onto partners/opponents. Then and only then will personal balance be made possible, and thus all else is resolved. In the meantime, as the opposition builds, be prepared to go back and forth.

What happens when the Sun in Scorpio tries to go there but the Moon in Taurus is immovably content on enjoying life right where it is?

___

Numerology of the Day: 8
[10/16/2016 = 1+0+1+6+2+0+1+6 = 17 = 1+7 = 8]

red-signs-symbol-alphabets-numbers-outlined-numbers-red-number-8-kFv5Ur-clipart.png

What goes around comes around is the idea behind the number 8. Just like the symbol of infinity, this number embodies endlessness. 8 can be the gift that keeps on giving, or it can represent the shackles of bondage to an oppressive circumstance. The result of the 8 energy depends on how its power is wielded. The get back is only as strong as the put out, sort of like karma. Or exactly like karma. If every action has an equal and opposite reaction, then whoever reads this better act accordingly, or else.

Once this personal responsibility is assumed, 8 can elevate ordinary individuals to executive heights. 8 is related to the archetype of the boss, one who has self-control and well as power of the circumstances of subordinates. Ambition, business, and corporation all fall under the rule of this authoritative number. Not so positively, the number 8 may be cumbersome and sensitive to the pressures of this gravitational existence, so people who identify with this vibration must often fight through fatalism. With discipline and balance, 8 can achieve greatness.

Major Arcana Tarot Correspondence for Aries:
IV | The Emperor

emperor 2.jpg

The leader, the ruler, The Emperor. This card is obviously representative of ballers, shot-callers and other authority figures. Anyone who has power enough to warrant a community of followers can be likened to The Emperor archetype. More symbolically, this card signifies the essential centrality from which any game-changing circumstance emanates, as it takes a great deal of personal singularity and unwavering focus to oversee something of such magnitude.

There are many factors that keep an empire up, running, and vital in the face of threats that could come at any time, from every direction, so it takes a skillful commander to be the core that keeps his kingdom together. Not only must he embody the beam that supports the structure of everything and everyone around him, but he must also make executive decisions that reflect the greater good of the common bond they all share, lest he find himself on the receiving end of an ugly uprising.

The Sun in Libra, despite the harmonious beauty it exudes, is often compromised by the external forces. The Moon in Aries at the opposite end of the zodiac is instinctively self-assertive. Why is aggressive Aries considered the opposite sign amiable Libra?

When the Sun is in Libra, the focus in this existence revolves very much around the refinement of anything that is otherwise unappealing, infuriating, or rough around the edges. When the Moon moves into opposite sign Aries, however, everyone will be forced to confront the unadulterated, sometimes aggressively inconsiderate manifestations of animal energy that we’ve tried so steadfastly to beautify and pacify. There is only so many Libran niceties one can employ before the Aries beast is released, because one’s most basic, uncomplicated, straightforward nature can only be contained or made-over for so long before it fights its way through the strategically pleasing surface. What’s coming to light under this Aries Full Moon is The Self, raw and unfiltered.

For anyone who’s struggled to smooth over an interpersonal disagreement, clarity is to be expected. That doesn’t mean it will end well – in fact, it might be downright brutal. Aries is the sign that is most associated with war and combat, so don’t be surprised if the gloves come off and the little disagreement becomes an epic confrontation. Unresolved rage may rear its ugly head now. Many will make the “wrong” move, some will get hurt and hurt others. It doesn’t have to get to that point, but sometimes, it’s in everyone’s best interest to just…¬†get to the point. ¬†Get angry. Go OFF. Folks are easily offended when the Sun is in Libra, but the Moon in Aries doesn’t¬† mind facing the offensive feelings that are bound to arise, so calling out fouls that have gone unpunished might be the most appropriate release right now [beware, though, because people who are habitually offended are at risk of having their own offenses exposed during this time. Yikes.]. In a similar vein, a decisive verdict is likely to be the given to anyone who has filed a claim or grievance, although some plaintiffs will be tempted to take matters into their own hands if they feel as though justice hasn’t been served.

Conversely, any volatile arrangement that makes it through this Full Moon to a better place is to be celebrated. It’s not easy to ameliorate¬†hatred¬†in relationships. Any partners who are able to conquer their differences are on to something special.

Major Arcana Tarot Correspondence for Capricorn:
XV | The Devil

Some might say that Hell is really here on Earth. In that case, it would be advisable to look at this physical dimension as The Devil’s dominion. Who better then to call upon than this guy to make the most of this material world and master the five senses? When his energy is harnessed with “upright” intentions, The Devil can be a great taskmaster who bestows lessons of discipline and concentration unto his ambitious students. This card appears to endorse the value of not only respecting, but also working optimally within a defined set of boundaries. The ones who overstep those boundaries, however, are likely to have a much different experience of this wicked archetype upon which the unconscious idea of evil is projected.

The Devil is concerned only with the “real” world. Spirituality, enlightenment, and love are not so important in this realm, and those qualities are probably¬†lacking when this card is drawn. The Devil is a reminder that as one endeavors toward the most impressive peaks of professional success and tangible attainment, the calculation and determination that are required to dominate the earth element leave little room for the consideration of abstract sentiment. At its most decadent, The Devil is bound unapologetically to the temporarily gratifying but insidiously¬†destructive¬†pleasures of the flesh, ranging from a little raunchy to incredibly grotesque, possibly to the detriment of the “higher self” and the accomplishments toward which one strives. A sacrifice might be in order.

Major Arcana Tarot Correspondence for Sagittarius:
XIV | Temperance

pyreaus_tarot_connolly_Temperance[1].jpg

After dealing with some of the Tarot‚Äôs more extreme archetypal circumstances, Temperance pops out of the deck as a reminder of moderation. Sometimes it‚Äôs more appropriate to lay back and be patient, even as the world seems to be spinning out of control. Do what must be done, but beware of doing too much too soon. Depending on the stakes of the situation, maybe it‚Äôs¬†better to leave it alone altogether, whatever ‚Äúit‚ÄĚ may be.

Even in the bleakest of conditions, there is always a way to make the circumstance work, even if it takes a little magic in the form of alchemy. To be cliche, take all the lemons that life has given and make the best lemonade that lemons can make ‚Äď with some other helpful¬†ingredients, of course. Perhaps it‚Äôs best to focus less on getting rid of something [or someone] bothersome and to concentrate on transmuting trouble to triumph instead, thereby ensuring that victory will be the destination of this long journey.

Rather than acting thoughtlessly or giving into reckless reactivity, Temperance urges us to ponder the possibilities of the future, as well as how they may be affected. Play around with all available elements and realign resources to elicit exciting new effects and create unexplored contexts. The decision to bide time shouldn’t render one inactive. Anyone who equates apparent stillness to stasis is foolish, and more likely than not, that fool will be the one who ends up holding the losing hand.

full moon reflection: 2 [#StarsAndSymbol]

Many people who don’t know much about astrology, and even some of us who work with Stars & Symbols on a daily basis, tend to fear the Full Moon. The word “lunatic” comes to mind [moon = luna]. The feminine energy is feared, and since the moon is the symbolic matrix of all feminine, the Full Moon’s emphasis on our lunar luminary can elicit irrational emotionalism in this patriarchal society. As if insanity were the only option, people expect to go crazy!

Tarot: Death

bigstock-hand-drawn-tarot-deck-major-a-29085833-300x468.jpg

Perhaps the most terrifying card in the deck, Death always elicits extreme reactions when it is pulled. For most people it calls to mind the end of life and the physical body’s inevitable decay, a rude reminder of immortality. When interpreted not-so-literally, however, Death is the truth of transformation and the never-ending cycles of evolution. Just as the snake sheds its skin and the feathers of the bird fly off into the wind, everyone must occasionally begin again. But in order for something to be reborn, it must first die. This is the end of an era.

Some say that energy never dies, though, so maybe this is more of a shift from one form to the next.

libra full moon/lunar eclipse 2016 [#StarsAndSymbols]

2016’s Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Libra is exact on March 23rd @ 8:01 am EST.

The Sun [in Aries] opposite the Moon [in Libra] shines a light on our interpersonal conflicts, and wishfully, our capability to maintain a peaceful balance, or at the very least, fight for justice. Aries energy thrives on conflict, whereas Libra is thrown off by disagreement, although Libra will gladly seek retribution when treated unfairly until balance is restored.

Aside from the Sun [conscious will] and Moon [subconscious instincts] being opposite, as they are every Full Moon, there are some other notable aspects happening at the climax of our monthly lunar cycle.

Asteroid Ceres [the all-nourishing mother] will be minutes away from an exact conjunction with Chiron [the wounded healer] in Pisces, the sign of mysticism and illusion. This asteroid conjunction is close to forming an exact opposition to the North Node [destiny] in Virgo, the sign of purity and self-improvement. This could indicates some sort of trauma event from the past, maybe some sort of loss or separation, that has been left unresolved, but is now resurfacing. In order to move forward, as the North Node urges us to do, we have to confront yesterday’s wounds to cultivate healing. This aspect also indicates a potentially self-sabotaging tendency to become unhealthily attached, perhaps to addictive substances as Ceres/Chiron occupy Pisces.

The next notable aspect is a square between Jupiter in Virgo and Saturn in Sagittarius, which is exact at the same time the Full Moon reaches its climax. This aspect indicates a crisis that revolves around the dichotomy of expansion [Jupiter] and contraction [Saturn]. Yes, the tension surrounding our growth and maturity is likely to be highlighted, but the discomfort of this square aspect will motivate us to get up and do something about it. There are no corners to be cut when it comes to our advancement, and although the work we have to do may feel at times burdensome, the reward will be well work it and long lasting. This aspect may also illuminate some issues with authority and personal responsibility, in addition to the sociopolitical issues [Sagittarius] that are all over the news right now.

It is important to note that this isn’t only an ordinary Full Moon, not that they’re ever ordinary, but an extraordinary Lunar Eclipse. When the Full Moon is obscured by the Earth’s shadow, the material world takes precedence as we realize the gravity of the new life we have manifested. This is a new era from which there will be no turning back.

And now, here is a card reading for guidance…

10294451_1708797169379547_2597061504449369350_n.jpg

We have the opportunity now to draw from all of our resources, both earthly and otherwordly, seen and unseen, to propel us to victory. Every road traveled comes with its own set of obstacles, but the trick is to use the gifts with which we’ve been blessed to overcome them. It is crucial that we know what we are facing if we are to triumph, because every challenge are best handled with case by case specificity, because what worked in one instance might be completely unsuccessful in the next. Faith that every struggle will be ameliorated is great, but we must also observe the playing field (as well as other players) to strategize a win. Continue reading
