1.) YOU NOW:
🔮: #13 / Death

The fear of death is at the root of most human suffering, despite the fact that everyone from the highest king to the most humble peasant is bound to die. Death, the great equalizer in its suit of armor, is unstoppable and inevitable. It is important to remember that everyone deals with the pain of grief and loss differently, and with that in mind, you may unearth a profound truth that has long been submerged under the surface.

Speaking of death/fear, I am loving Will Smith’s thrilling story about bliss being on the other side of what scares you. He says, “The point of maximum danger is the point of minimum fear.”

2.) MOST HIDDEN INFLUENCE:
: King Of Swords

Swords = Air Element. Gemini  is the first air sign of the zodiac, and with the Gemini New Moon coming soon in this state of sensory overload, you are in the mood to cut out confusion (& other unwanted influences) with the biggest blade you can find. Gemini is concerned  the most relevant information, and the King of Swords is the master mentalist archetype that is commanding you to comminicate better.

3.) MOST ELEVATED ACHIEVEMENT:
: 3 of Cups

Ecstasy is an achievement. Aim high in the company of love and trust, and all spirits will be lifted.

4.) YOU in the PAST
: #12 / The Hanged Man

Now you know not to worry about time because, in the past, you have seen the success of surrendering control to a higher power . Someone powerful has prayed blessings upon your life all over, and there is a divine force that will deliver you at the perfect moment.

5.) YOU in the FUTURE:
: #9 / The Hermit

A lengthy period of exertion will soon require you to withdraw into a ritual of self-renewal in solitude. This temporary isolation will bring great awareness, and after you integrate all the impressions you have received, you will be more clear about who you are and what you’re doing.

This reading is for me and anyone who shares my vibration

1.) “How will I enhance my life this week?”
: 10 of Cups

I get the most out of life when I take the time to recognize the power I possess to make real the life of my dreams. To celebrate my artistic ability, I might write a list of 10 Wishes That Have Come True. I could also ask myself “What do I love most right now about my life?” as a way of appreciating the moment and practicing gratitude for all that is blessed in the world.

2.) “What issue must I resolve this week?”
: 0 – The Fool

As much as I love my life, I am no stranger to the karmic difficulties of prior impatience, ignorance, and immaturity. There are no regrets, because what’s done is done, and so I take responsibility for creating these circumstances. The only way to move forward after is to get real about what went wrong and then dare to make it right.

3.) “What mystery is being revealed to me this week?”
: 10 of Pentacles

The “Good Life” is a fantasy that many of us entertain, but in the most practical sense, it comes only as a result of physical routine. In other words, my ritual must reinforce the reality that my imagination envisions as ideal if I intend to bring it into existence. The secret to the success I see in the outside world is exposed by the discovery of the blood, sweat, and tears that have spilled consistently enough to stain the floor of every foundation of excellence. Overnight success is an illusion. My heroes are proof that it takes time to climb the tree of life, and they remind me that my ascension is the promise of daily effort.

And since this is about to be the song of the summer, here is Calvin Harris“Heatstroke” (feat. Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, & Ariana Grande), which matches the blossoming optimism that this reading inspires in me. You can find this song and many more where that came from on my April 2017 Playlist, only on Tidal.

AshéOracle: Week of 4/3/2016 [#StarsAndSymbols]

Week of 4/3/2016

Numerology:
7

Astrology:
Venus enters Aries | [on 4/5/2016 @ 12:50 PM EST until 4/29/2016]
Venus in Aries is rough around the edges where it is “supposed” to be soft and sultry. The dainty allure that is normally attributed to Venus might take a backseat to the fast-paced pursuit of what is found appealing, but is the rush held in higher esteem than the first place prize? Hmm, probably not, because there’s no greater feeling than winning when Venus is in Aries, whether it’s a friendly competition or a heated argument. Still, there’s something so sexy about the chase.

Mercury enters Taurus | [on 4/5/2016 @ 7:09 pm EST until 6/12/2016]
What Mercury in Taurus lacks in swiftness and excitement, it makes up for in common sense. Words and thoughts have the potential to manifest physically with this placement more than any other. Because of this verbal gravity, it is best to speak deliberately, with the intention to say only what is meant. The superficial stimulation of a sensationalized story is fine, but why go out of the way to say what sounds good if the statement isn’t completely organic? A phrase is always more beautiful when it is naturally inspired and spoken with rhythmic intelligence. Logic is grounded in reality, so it is best to base decisions on the facts found in the earthly realm of tangible information. After all, isn’t everything easier [and a lot more profitable] when let the five senses are allowed lead the way?

Sun [in Aries] square Pluto [in Capricorn] | [on 4/6/2016 @ 4:13 pm EST]

New Moon in Aries | [on 4/7/2016 @ 7:24 am EST]

Sun [in Aries] conjunct Uranus [in Aries] | [on 4/9/2016 @ 5:27 pm EST]

When an ordinary existence isn’t enough, some of us seek to find the heightened reality of a religious experience. Those who dive a bit deeper into the belief that there is a better way might be surprised to find that when certain elements are brought together, specific effects are elicited, and those effects could be exactly what we wished. Imagine what could happen if we devoted ourselves to studying these forces and practicing the art of arranging them in accordance with our intentions, as well as the natural reverence they so require.

libra full moon/lunar eclipse 2016 [#StarsAndSymbols]

2016’s Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Libra is exact on March 23rd @ 8:01 am EST.

The Sun [in Aries] opposite the Moon [in Libra] shines a light on our interpersonal conflicts, and wishfully, our capability to maintain a peaceful balance, or at the very least, fight for justice. Aries energy thrives on conflict, whereas Libra is thrown off by disagreement, although Libra will gladly seek retribution when treated unfairly until balance is restored.

Aside from the Sun [conscious will] and Moon [subconscious instincts] being opposite, as they are every Full Moon, there are some other notable aspects happening at the climax of our monthly lunar cycle.

Asteroid Ceres [the all-nourishing mother] will be minutes away from an exact conjunction with Chiron [the wounded healer] in Pisces, the sign of mysticism and illusion. This asteroid conjunction is close to forming an exact opposition to the North Node [destiny] in Virgo, the sign of purity and self-improvement. This could indicates some sort of trauma event from the past, maybe some sort of loss or separation, that has been left unresolved, but is now resurfacing. In order to move forward, as the North Node urges us to do, we have to confront yesterday’s wounds to cultivate healing. This aspect also indicates a potentially self-sabotaging tendency to become unhealthily attached, perhaps to addictive substances as Ceres/Chiron occupy Pisces.

The next notable aspect is a square between Jupiter in Virgo and Saturn in Sagittarius, which is exact at the same time the Full Moon reaches its climax. This aspect indicates a crisis that revolves around the dichotomy of expansion [Jupiter] and contraction [Saturn]. Yes, the tension surrounding our growth and maturity is likely to be highlighted, but the discomfort of this square aspect will motivate us to get up and do something about it. There are no corners to be cut when it comes to our advancement, and although the work we have to do may feel at times burdensome, the reward will be well work it and long lasting. This aspect may also illuminate some issues with authority and personal responsibility, in addition to the sociopolitical issues [Sagittarius] that are all over the news right now.

It is important to note that this isn’t only an ordinary Full Moon, not that they’re ever ordinary, but an extraordinary Lunar Eclipse. When the Full Moon is obscured by the Earth’s shadow, the material world takes precedence as we realize the gravity of the new life we have manifested. This is a new era from which there will be no turning back.

And now, here is a card reading for guidance…

10294451_1708797169379547_2597061504449369350_n.jpg

We have the opportunity now to draw from all of our resources, both earthly and otherwordly, seen and unseen, to propel us to victory. Every road traveled comes with its own set of obstacles, but the trick is to use the gifts with which we’ve been blessed to overcome them. It is crucial that we know what we are facing if we are to triumph, because every challenge are best handled with case by case specificity, because what worked in one instance might be completely unsuccessful in the next. Faith that every struggle will be ameliorated is great, but we must also observe the playing field (as well as other players) to strategize a win. Continue reading

2016: labor of love [#StarsAndSymbols]

womb[1]

it takes 9 months to carry a human child. before the pregnancy reaches full term, there is a process that mother and baby must mutually undergo during which each passing interval is as conducive as it is crucial to a healthy delivery. from conception to labor, everyone has an idea of what it’s going to be, but one never truly knows until the infant comes forth in its big debut. funny how a debut can double as a grand finale. there’s a thin, thin line between the two, and it blurs. i don’t mean to trigger a contraction, but if you look down, you might be surprised to find how close you have come to that line.

as with the developmental stage of any creation, names can change from moment to moment, shifting the vibration of the still-gestating entity. even after it has been christened, the consciousness of the creator must ascend to a certain height in order to finally behold the essence of the precious life that is being fostered in the totality of its glory.

in numerology, the study of numbers as metaphysical symbols, the goal is reduce every amount to a single digit through the mathematic process of addition. for example, the number 39 would be broken down to 3+9. Since 3+9= 12, the next task is to add 1+2, which leaves us with a single digit sum of 3. Now that we’ve arrived at a single digit number, we can start to explore the characteristics inherent in this number, as each of the single digits have their own individual traits and connotations.

now, let’s practically apply this little numerology lesson, shall we? take this new year, 2016. 2+0+1+6 = … 9! That makes 2016 a year that vibrates in alignment with the number 9, the highest and final single digit number. what does it all mean you ask? it might be in our best interest go explore the symbolism of 9 in numerology.

number-9-on-ocean-floorsince 9 is the highest number [excluding, of course, double digits and beyond] there is a lofty quality associated with this symbol. imagine reaching the mountaintop and taking in the elevated view. even the air breathes differently up here. it’s not quite heaven, but it’s feels close enough to rub off on you and change your perspective from one of rugged individuality [in the vain of the number 1] to one of universal awareness. 9 is a heightened state of mind and the insights that one brings down to earth when aligned with this number are sure to be enlightening.

as 9 oversees everything from above, it relates to global affairs and matters that concern the masses. this number endows a respectable degree of leadership unto anyone who invokes it. because of this, popularity is an attribute of people [9 life paths], places [buildings with addresses that equal 9], and things [the year 2016] that resonate with this 9 energy.

as with the high stakes, “ready-to-pop” ninth month of pregnancy, the frequency of the number 9 is one of inspiring excitement. ruled by the action-packed planet mars, 9 is a zealous energy. when this number is in effect, the people of the world are motivated by the promise of big projects, especially if the endeavor is attached in some way to a humanitarian cause. speaking of attachment, the shadow side of 9 is its propensity to be aloof, ungrounded in the present reality, and disconnected from one on one relationships. just like the mother who could go into labor at any minute, there are simply bigger, more urgent concerns with which the number 9 concerns itself. usually those concerns are driven by visionary idealism and utopian desires. remember, too, that mars is known in the occult world as the warrior god, so it wouldn’t be farfetched this year to witness intensified strife on an international level. sometimes, it has to get worse before it gets better.

hermit

in the traditional tarot deck, the hermit [card 9]  follows strength [card 8]. after conquering our fears, weaknesses, and insecurities with strength [2015 = 8], this archetype comes to a place of inner confidence, assured spiritually by the all the tests it has passed. like the hermit card, 2016 might be the year during which you reflect on the past through a lens that has never been as wise and all-seeing as it is now. no matter how dark it was and no matter how dark it could be in the future, there is an inextinguishable fire inside of everyone that burns as a guide to illuminate the path to deliverance, stoked by the love of ancestors and dearly beloved family members who have passed in the past 9 years or so. in this immortal light, everything that was a mystery starts to make a whole lot more sense.

an assignment of sorts:

make a mental note everything of significance that you remember from 2008. better, write down a physical list. now take that list and notice how many of the major themes of your life in the present moment made themselves apparent way back then in 2008. finally, if any of those ‘themes’ are still unsettled, make a wish for and visualize your ideal resolution in 2016. think of these resolutions as mantras. how can you can claim them if you don’t name them?

if nothing from 2008 rings a bell, make a list instead of 9 unresolved issues from any period of time that you would like to finalize. wish, visualize, mantra, same as above.

2016 is the year to wrap up all loose ends to reach enlightenment. 2016 is the year to come to a conclusion, because every beginning requires an ending [which is just another beginning in disguise]. 2016 is the year to reveal the labor of love that has been growing in the faceless, yet fertile darkness, finally!

The waters are choppy, but you have the power to steer your ship in the right direction, and you look good doing it. Your shipmates, including your own crew as well as the passengers you’ve picked up along the way, are amazed by your ability to go with flow and maintain some sense of direction. These people are likely to come to you to help them stabilize their own stormy situations. They trust you to guide them when they are lost at sea.

Man With Moral Compass In Head

Despite your apparently confident composure, your certainty as a captain may waver. Can’t these people see it’s a struggle for you not to swim in circles? Don’t know they that you too are blown away when there is too much wind in your sails?

If ever you are unsure of which way you are supposed to navigate, remember that the most accurate compass is your intuition, which will always be with you no matter where you wander. Continue reading

There is nothing wrong with consulting someone you trust for reassurance or even objective guidance, but you are an authority unto yourself first and foremost. You have every right to express your executive opinions, take your own advice, and make your own decision. Right, wrong, and other value based judgments are no longer defined by The Others.

Even if it isn’t well received, you know there is another way to get to where you’re going, and you are determined to explore it against all odds. If it were up to you, you’d keep the damage to a minimum, but you can’t help the force with which you are breaking through. Not everyone will get it, but that is beside the point.
