Whatever you want is yours. It will even come to you. Yes, that means you don’t have to chase it. Is that a game changer? Could be!

Perhaps a more appropriate question would be “what exactly do you want?” Aimlessness is the root of all dissatisfaction today, and with so many options available to you, it would be in your best interest to be as direct as possible. Continue reading

Moon [in Pisces] conjunct Chiron [in Pisces]
Moon [in Pisces] sextile Pluto [in Capricorn]

It is possible today that you discover a hidden truth behind the facade of reality that is otherwise presented. Either you can take the prescription as it’s being given, or you can politely decline and do your own research. If you feel as though there is information being withheld, there probably is, and you are probably obsessed with unlocking the mysteries.

Perhaps you are struggling with the pain of being left out. You know better than anyone how badly it hurts to be treated as if you were invisible, but still you put yourself out there in the open, hoping to catch the reflection of something more significantly apparent. Maybe then you could enchant the attention of that special someone and be initiated into their most unspeakable depths. After all, there is nothing you wouldn’t do to access the innermost depths of The Ones you love, to be privy to the secret rites that exist within their shadow, to blur the lines that render you separate.

As intriguing as the illusion may be, you are more concerned with the intent than the spectacle. Activated within you today is a penetrating insight that perceives withheld matter. Whether or not it is intentional, you play an agent of exposure, unleashing revelatory cataclysms in your environment with your incisive curiosity. Is it a harmless desire to observe the unseen dynamic that drives your of discovery, or could it be a deep-seated suspicion? Maybe it’s an obsessive compulsive lust for power that is best satisfied by making oneself privy to private knowledge.

The intensity of your inquisitive nature could be perceived as intrusive. as a defense against your prying, The Others will erect walls to obstruct your peering eyes, exacerbating your itch to investigate. Be mindful of external boundaries. Everyone deserves personal privacy, no matter what you believe they’re up to. Instead of pointing the finger in a conspiracy theory-induced frenzy, try to probe internally to identify the stem of such paranoia. Projecting your “ugly” onto other people is easier sometimes than anything else. This tendency, however, is destructive and poisonous.

pluto direct: stranger danger [#StarsAndSymbols]

What a morning. Like a hangover, I didn’t feel the intoxicating effects of the Full Moon in Pisces until today. Glad to finally be home after a night at Union Transfer in Philadelphia [a Scorpio city] seeing the Washed Out show. It was quite the experience.

In other news, I think it’s time for me to acquire a new phone. Whatever I intended to prove by going without has been proven, I believe, and now it’s becoming a slight inconvenience to be so disconnected. Allow me to explain.

As most of us know, concerts always take longer than expected. By the time the show ended last night, I had missed my train back to Atlantic City, and I’d have no ride home if I took the next one. I decided then to stay the night at my friend’s house, although I was reluctant because I would have to wake up at 7 AM with her as she left for work. I had little choice, so that’s what I did. Boy, did I take having a car for granted when I had one.

After we said our goodbyes and she rode off into the distance on her bike, I decided to walk all the way from her North Philly home downtown to 30th Street Station. As I mentioned in a previous post, I love walking (especially in big cities), plus I had time to kill, so I had no problem walking and saving bus fare. Little did I know I would be walking for 3/4 of the daylight hours. I got lost in the awesomeness of City Hall, missed my Market Street turn, and ended up walking all the way to South Street before I admitted to myself that I should ask for directions. After an hour and a half of walking, I finally made it to the train station.

Being completely candid, I’m having a “too soon” moment so I’d rather not finish recounting this story in its vivid entirety (believe me, I can get vivid). Let’s just say I arrived in New Jersey with no ride to my house, and with no prospects for a taxi or bus (and no phone to find one), I was stranded in suburbia for 4 hours. After walking aimlessly from the train station, I ended up sitting hopelessly in Five Guys for an entirely too long 2 hours. After being treated to free fries and cold water, my mom finally rescued me on her way to work. I was able to call her 2 hours prior at the local dollar store.

I have asked many people to use their phones since losing mine back in April, and it is always interesting to see how they will react, as I am literally putting myself out there to be rejected. Most people have phones, and I think have sense enough to know who does and who doesn’t before I approach anyone, but who is willing to share definitely depends on their impression of me and my intentions.

the part-time porn star: mars in gemini [astroloco]

Have you ever seen someone you know in a porno? I’m not talking about a leaked nude or an amateur, homemade video clip on xtube. I’m talking about a legit porn film, with a script and a storyline and everything. I was minding my own business last night, surfing the forbidden netherworld of the internets, when all sudden I saw a familiar face with a voice that I knew very well. Talk about a curveball!

At first I thought I was trippin. This man on my screen had to be some sort of doppelgänger. He couldn’t possibly be the man I thought he was, seeing as how that man was super professional and too well put together to dabble in something as decadent and lewd as pornography. These, of course, were surface judgments, as I never get to know him that well. He was one of the staff members at my internship and I hardly ever engaged with him. For discretion’s sake I won’t say where I interned in this post (although I have mentioned it previously in another post), but it was a major association for playwrights in New York City with a lot of big name members and councilmen. After some meticulous research, I found out that this “actor” was indeed the man I thought he was.

I was so intrigued by this revelation because I worked in the same vicinity as this guy for a whole semester and never even knew. Naturally, I began to imagine every possible scenario of his double life. Did everyone else there know he was a porn star, and if so, what did they say when they found out? Did he think I knew he was a porn star, and if so, did that excite him? If I did know he was a porn star, would I have been more open to talking to him? Truthfully, I wasn’t very social with anyone at my internship. I felt out of my element because they were all more passionate about theatre than I was. Plus they were all older and mostly of European descent, so there wasn’t much of an immediate common ground. I stayed to myself because I thought of them as elitists of some sort and I never want to say or do the wrong thing. Little did I know my desk was 3 feet away from the office of a closet freak.

something to count on: numerology 101 [#StarsAndSymbols]

As a young child, I was obsessed with pretending I was a teenager. When asked how old I was by strange adults at random places (not as bad as it sounds), I remember being fond of ages 13 and 17. I’ll admit, 13 was a passing fad, but 17 stuck (my favorite cousin was 17 at the time)! To this day 17 is one of my favorite numbers.

We all have favorites (numbers, colors, shapes, etc.) for a reason, but we don’t often allow ourselves to explore those reasons in depth. What is it about a number that makes it stand out among the infinite amount of others? Sure, certain symbols have sentimental value. While the nostalgia factor is valid, there is arguably a deeper reason for your favorite symbol. Otherwise, it probably wouldn’t have resonated with you in the first place.

Despite their importance, most of us take numbers (and other symbols) for granted. We use them when we need to and leave it at that. If we took the time to understand the unique vibration of each number, we would start to recognize the beautiful, cyclical pattern called numerology.

All numbers, when reduced to single digits, have a deeper significance in numerology. It’s interesting to note how even the shapes of the symbols themselves can contribute to the characteristics of the numbers, even in the most subconscious, archetypal ways [1, for example, is a phallic symbol that represents creative life energy]. Here are numbers 1-9 and their respective qualities…

1 – original, independent, pioneering, inventive, self-centered

2 – cooperative, diplomatic, sensitive, adaptable, shy

3 – optimistic, expressive, inspirational, creative, scattered

4 – practical, hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, stubborn

5 – adventurous, versatile, curious, free, reckless

6 – charming, balanced, compassionate, helpful, self-righteous

7 – introspective, scientific, analytical, spiritual, aloof

8 – executive, successful, ambitious, karmic, materialistic

9 – popular, generous, intuitive, humanitarian, detached

Any number greater than 9 can be simplified by adding each digit. For example, 17 [1+7] can reduced to 8. There are, however, three master numbers [11, 22, 33] that are left alone as double digits. Master numbers are obviously special, revered as higher, more spiritual expressions of their respective sums. 11 is an amplified version of 2, 22 [the master builder] is an amplified version of 4, and 33 [the master teacher] is an amplified version of 6.
