Card 1:

The best way to deal with anxiety is to use it as fuel for action. Now I am able to redirect the energy of my worries into excitement that I harness to fight through fear to personal victory. 🌟

Card 2:
“What Is Being Asked Of Me This Week?” 🔼: Ace of Wands

My task is to get back in touch with my creative roots. By revisiting my artistic origins, I reinvigorate my vision and revitalize my personal power, which means that whenever I share my next opus, the impression I make on the world will be stronger and more inspired. 🌟

It may feel like your ultimate objective is foreign in that it exists outside of you. It’s out there, but it’s not at all in close proximity or easy to reach. You want it now without having to go out of your way, but as you are confronted with the reality of distance, you begin to wonder if you even want it anymore. It may seem as if you have to give up the center piece to complete your puzzle, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that doesn’t make much sense.

Perhaps the direction toward which you are being guided isn’t in agreement with your individual value system. Maybe your idea of yourself and who you are and what you are capable of is incongruent to your aspiration. It’s like you know your calling, but you’re unsure of how exactly you are supposed to get from here to there without selling your soul or sacrificing the rhythmic style of your method.  So yes, maybe it’s not for you after all, but what if it is and you just haven’t seen it clearly yet?

Instead of allowing your worries, neuroses, and self-proclaimed shortcomings to keep you separate from your sense of destiny, take all your personal resources and core characteristics and identify ways in which you can alter their respective functions, even if these alterations challenge your notion of the world and your unique existence within it. as evidenced in a variety of enduring magnum opuses, many people of many cultures and eras believe that we are all intrinsically connected. does that mean we should deny our unique experience and super special perspective? absolutely not! we must individuate ourselves (a strong “damn it” feels appropriate right here, yeah?). if we don’t leave our footprint on the surface of the earth, were we ever even alive? if the upside down sun isn’t shining, then there is nothing to see here folks! apathy, fatigue, and the depletion of life force energy in general signify either an unconscious blockage of self-expression or a wasteful expenditure of vital power that leaves us exhausted. how can we expect to create a signature by which to be remembered if we are not performing full out? life is no dress rehearsal.

some facet of our personality is being stifled whether or not we realize it. in order to continue the healthy development of the ego, we must shed light on the aspects of our being that have not yet been integrated. by acknowledging the entirety of who we are, we free ourselves to live fully in alignment with the whims of our creative will, which range from romantic to risky. whichever end of the spectrum our recreation takes us, it’s all in good fun. there is nobody else quite like us and if that doesn’t inspiration the extension of self, then leo is not the king of the jungle. even if we are not proud of everything we’ve experienced, we still have the authority to celebrate the totality of our existence for the sheer fact that there are no duplicates. way past one in a million is who we are.

if there is ever any uncertainty regarding the root of our self-consciousness and the obstruction of our eminent potential, our partnerships serve as a mirror if we choose to see ourselves in others. we attract those who are meant to refine us in some way, so sometimes it may feel as though we are in abrasive relationships. peaceful exchanges are preferred in the 7th house, but edgy interactions are indicative of the bits and pieces of our personhood that we must be conscious of in order to generate the amount of fuel necessary to sustain the animation that is playing out around us.

my best week: 1/26/14 [#StarsAndSymbols]

Screen shot 2014-01-13 at 3.46.03 AM

*******

let’s get it started! mars is the first card, and rightfully so. this is the planet that takes the lead when everybody else is stuck trying to decide which way to go. “nevermind the direction,” commands mars. “this week means nothing if you don’t move!” action, impulse, and urgency are some words that describe the god of war. mars gets us revved up like a key twisted in an ignition. with so much raw, unadulterated energy, it is best that we are self-assured and assertively confident in our capability to steer this vehicle called life down a road that has yet to be paved.

the 2nd card pulled was taurus, the 2nd sign of the zodiac. taurus entices us to slow down and smell the roses. taurus picks up where [mars-ruled] aries leaves off and serves to solidify any enterprises undertaken by the ram. it’s easy to get lost in hustle and bustle, but the bull isn’t easily rushed, especially once it has settled itself. “i lay the foundation so you know it’s real,” boasts taurus in its most sultry baritone, while sipping on a glass of red wine. taurus knows its worth and is never pressed to prove anything to anyone, because excellence simply cannot be expedited.

next card drawn was the 2nd house, the house that corresponds to Taurus, so I will refrain from rehashing the previous paragraph. you may be wondering how mars will satiate its trailblazing desire nature when paired with the seemingly immovable physical weight that is taurus/2nd house, but don’t worry. when one is certain that one is going places in life, there is no need to worry about winning some imaginary race. most of us speed up when we see a yellow light, but this week fares best when we embrace the yielding power of the brakes. when we finally put foot to pedal we benefit from being specific, deliberate, and practical, so that regardless of which way we end up driving, we are well-prepared for any obstacle that obstructs our mobilization.
